What This Role Involves
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join one of our international banking clients in Bogotá under a hybrid work model. You will be responsible for transforming and consolidating the client’s CI/CD infrastructure across multiple departments and applications, ensuring seamless cloud integration and solving complex deployment challenges within the.NET ecosystem.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design, build, optimize, and maintain highly reliable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for various banking departments and application types.
- Serve as the primary owner and administrator of the GitHub platform, ensuring governance, security, and operational best practices organization-wide.
- Build and standardize specialized pipelines tailored for.NET applications to streamline deployment processes.
- Provision, maintain, and improve cloud infrastructure using modern IaC (Infrastructure as Code) practices to automate banking workloads.
- Take technical ownership of the current CI/CD infrastructure by bringing order to disparate pipeline types and acting as a mentor for other team members.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in designing, building, optimizing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Expertise in managing the GitHub platform including governance, security, and operational best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to create specialized CI/CD pipelines for.NET applications.
- Strong knowledge of modern IaC practices such as Terraform or Ansible for cloud infrastructure automation.
- Experience with technical ownership and leadership in complex software initiatives.
