The Opportunity

As a DevOps Engineer — iTakeControl with Rednucleus in Pune, Maharashtra, you will help shape how software moves from development into stable production environments. The position centres on automation, continuous improvement, and close partnership with engineering colleagues. You will work on-site in Pune, contributing to smoother releases, clearer monitoring, and more resilient systems that support day-to-day delivery goals.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines that accelerate reliable releases for the iTakeControl initiative.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using infrastructure-as-code practices and scripting languages commonly applied in DevOps work.
• Monitor system health, performance metrics, and logs; respond promptly to incidents and help reduce mean time to recovery.
• Containerise applications and orchestrate them with industry-standard container tools, ensuring consistent environments across stages.
• Collaborate with development and operations stakeholders in Pune to improve deployment workflows, security baselines, and operational runbooks.
• Evaluate and introduce tooling that raises efficiency while documenting procedures so knowledge stays accessible to the team.
• Support capacity planning, cost-aware resource use, and basic cloud or hybrid platform operations relevant to a modern DevOps Engineer role.

Who We're Looking For

• Proven hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a closely related systems automation capacity.
• Solid working knowledge of CI/CD platforms, version control, and pipeline-as-code approaches.
• Familiarity with container technologies, configuration management, and infrastructure-as-code frameworks.
• Comfortable scripting or programming to automate routine tasks and glue systems together.
• Understanding of monitoring, alerting, and logging stacks used to keep production services healthy.
• Strong problem-solving mindset, clear communication skills, and the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional peers in Pune, Maharashtra.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving practices that improve reliability and speed of delivery for Rednucleus projects.
