Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Claims Specialist to join our team at Sedgwick in Birmingham, Alabama. This role will focus on handling Professional Liability claims involving Errors and Omissions (E&O), Directors and Officers (D&O), and Employment Practices Liability (EPL). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the insurance industry, specifically in managing complex claims.

- Evaluate and manage a high volume of professional liability claims.
- Provide thorough and accurate claim assessments to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather necessary information for claims processing.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to enhance their satisfaction and loyalty.
Skills & Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in professional liability claims handling, including E&O, D&O, and EPL.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex claims and make sound decisions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
- Familiarity with claim management software and databases.
- Certified Professional in Claims (CPC) or similar certification preferred.
