Broad River Rehabilitation is seeking a Part Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC-SLP certification to join our team in Batesville, Greenville County. This position offers flexible hours within a continuing care retirement community, where you'll work with a dedicated clinical team to deliver compassionate, evidence-based speech-language pathology services that meaningfully improve our residents' quality of life and functional independence.

Position Summary

As a Speech Language Pathologist at Broad River Rehabilitation, you'll provide comprehensive evaluations and therapeutic interventions for residents with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. You'll be part of a growing organization committed to clinical excellence and recognizing the vital contributions of therapy professionals. Working in a continuing care setting, you'll see the direct impact of your work on residents' ability to communicate, swallow safely, and engage meaningfully with their families and community.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language pathology assessments and establish individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy, including swallowing (dysphagia) interventions
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to optimize resident outcomes
  • Document patient progress, maintain detailed clinical records, and adjust treatment plans based on resident response
  • Educate residents and families about communication strategies and swallowing precautions
  • Participate in discharge planning and recommendations for continued care or therapy

What You Bring

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program
  • Current CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
  • State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in South Carolina
  • Clinical experience with adult and geriatric populations preferred
  • Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Commitment to person-centered, compassionate care
