Position Summary
The Independent School District 196 is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join the team at Dakota Ridge School. This position will be working part-time (1.0 FTE) starting from the beginning of the 2026-27 school year.
What You'll Do
The successful candidate will:
- Provide individual and small group instruction to meet the unique needs of students with special educational requirements.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with parents, general education teachers, and support staff.
- Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and assistive technologies to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive educational approach for all students.
