About the Role
Focus Interpreting is hiring a talented Simultaneous English - Spanish Interpreter to support clients across Las Vegas, Clark County. In this full-time, on-site position, you will deliver real-time interpretation that keeps communication flowing seamlessly between English and Spanish speakers during meetings, conferences, and a wide variety of live events.
Key Responsibilities
- Render accurate, simultaneous interpretation between English and Spanish as speakers talk, with minimal delay.
- Support meetings, conferences, and assorted events where multilingual audiences need clear, dependable communication.
- Convey tone, intent, and meaning faithfully so that every participant follows the discussion in real time.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and neutrality throughout each assignment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a professional interpreter, ideally in simultaneous settings.
- Full fluency in both English and Spanish, including strong command of vocabulary, idiom, and nuance.
- Ability to listen and speak concurrently while keeping pace with fast-moving conversation.
- Availability to interpret on-site at locations throughout Las Vegas and the surrounding Clark County area.
