About This Position

As a Server at Fogo in Multiple locations, you become the primary point of contact for guests from arrival through departure. You will work in a fast-paced environment where clear communication, accurate order handling, and genuine hospitality keep every table running smoothly. This full-time SERVER role focuses on service excellence, teamwork, and consistent attention to detail so that both first-time and returning guests leave satisfied. You will coordinate closely with kitchen and support staff to deliver timely, high-quality service while representing Fogo standards on the floor.

Responsibilities

• Greet arriving guests, seat them promptly when required, and present menus in a welcoming manner
• Take food and beverage orders accurately, answer menu questions, and offer recommendations based on guest preferences
• Enter orders into the point-of-sale system, relay special requests or allergy notes, and confirm changes with the kitchen
• Deliver plated items and drinks to the correct tables with correct timing and presentation standards
• Monitor tables for refill needs, clearing empty plates, and overall guest comfort throughout the meal
• Process payments efficiently, handle cash and card transactions carefully, and deliver final checks with thanks
• Reset and maintain assigned tables, side stations, and service areas so they stay clean, stocked, and ready
• Communicate clearly with fellow servers, runners, and managers to keep service flowing and resolve issues quickly
• Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and alcohol-service guidelines while maintaining a professional appearance

• Ability to stay organized, prioritize multiple tables, and remain calm during busy service periods
• Basic math skills for accurate order totals, tip calculations, and cash handling
• Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to support team members during rushes or beverage runs
• Physical readiness to stand for extended periods, walk between tables and the kitchen, and carry trays safely
• A service-oriented mindset focused on guest satisfaction and problem-solving in real time
• Comfort learning menu details, daily specials, and house procedures quickly
