Senior Wholesale Field Sales Representative, Crop Protection

CHS Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Wholesale Field Sales Representative, Crop Protection to join its agribusiness team based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County — a full-time, field-based position serving agricultural wholesale accounts across an assigned territory.

About the Role

In this senior-level position, you'll own and grow a portfolio of wholesale accounts — including ag retailers, cooperatives, and distributors — by delivering tailored crop protection solutions that help growers protect yield and maximize profitability. You'll operate as a trusted agronomic resource and strategic partner within your territory, driving revenue while strengthening long-term customer relationships.

What You'll Do

• Manage and expand a wholesale account base across the Oklahoma territory, meeting and exceeding annual volume and revenue targets
• Sell the full crop protection portfolio — herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides — to independent retailers, cooperatives, and dealer networks
• Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with regional market conditions and seasonal crop cycles
• Deliver product training, field demonstrations, and agronomic support to wholesale customers and their end-user growers
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and promotional programs with key accounts
• Track pipeline activity, account data, and sales performance using CRM tools, providing accurate forecasts to leadership
• Monitor the competitive landscape and communicate market intelligence to product and marketing teams
• Represent CHS Inc. at trade shows, farm industry events, and grower meetings throughout the region

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Business, or a related discipline
• Five or more years of crop protection sales experience, with demonstrated success in a wholesale or channel-sales environment
• Deep working knowledge of crop protection chemistry, application timing, and agronomic best practices relevant to Oklahoma crops
• Established relationships within the Oklahoma ag retail and cooperative community are a strong advantage
• Proven ability to develop strategic account plans and consistently achieve sales goals
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) designation preferred
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and standard business software
