About the Role
This Senior Staff Accountant position offers the chance to take ownership of complex accounting functions within a growing industrial solutions company. You will work closely with the Accounting Manager and broader finance team to deliver accurate financial reporting, maintain strong accounting practices, and drive meaningful process improvements.
What You'll Do
- Manage full-cycle accounting tasks including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and journal entry preparation
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports for accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Support audit processes, including audit preparation and cooperation with internal and external auditors
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting department efficiency and effectiveness
- Contribute to financial analysis and strategic planning activities
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated professional experience in accounting operations and financial reporting
- Proficiency with accounting software platforms and advanced spreadsheet skills
- Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting processes and GAAP accounting principles
- Detail-oriented approach with excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
