You will influence how teams build, release, and operate systems while fostering consistent practices across the organisation. This is a hands-on architectural position for someone ready to own platform strategy and translate it into practical, repeatable solutions.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the design of scalable DevOps platforms, including shared pipelines, infrastructure templates, and self-service capabilities that reduce friction for development teams.
• Architect infrastructure-as-code models and cloud-native patterns that promote consistency, auditability, and rapid recovery across environments.
• Establish and refine container orchestration, deployment automation, and observability standards so services can be operated confidently at scale.
• Guide adoption of platform engineering practices, partnering with engineers to evolve tooling, guardrails, and workflows that improve speed without sacrificing stability.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, contribute to technical roadmaps, and ensure platform choices align with security, reliability, and compliance expectations.
• Mentor practitioners, document architectural decisions, and champion operational excellence through clear standards and collaborative design reviews.

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated seniority designing and delivering DevOps platforms or equivalent platform-engineering capability in production settings.
• Strong command of continuous integration and continuous delivery concepts, infrastructure automation, and multi-environment release strategies.
• Hands-on depth with container platforms, orchestration technologies, and modern cloud infrastructure patterns commonly used by platform teams.
• Proficiency writing infrastructure-as-code and automation that support reproducible, secure, and observable systems.
• Ability to set technical direction, communicate trade-offs clearly, and collaborate effectively with engineering, security, and operations stakeholders.
