What This Role Involves

The Senior Benefits and Leave Specialist (AMER) is a critical operational role within Unity's Wellbeing organization. The position focuses on delivering seamless benefits and leave processes for employees across the U.S. and Canada. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while enhancing employee experience through efficient and effective management of benefits administration.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of employee benefit claims and leave requests
• Develop and maintain policies to support a comprehensive benefits program
• Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting employee benefits and ensure compliance
• Collaborate with HR teams to implement new initiatives and improve existing processes
• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, addressing their benefit inquiries and concerns

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in benefits administration or related field
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Proven track record of compliance with regulatory requirements
• Experience with benefit administration software and HRIS systems
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
