Unity Technologies is hiring a Senior Manager, UX to lead design strategy and execution across our Go-To-Market and Marketplace organization in Grand Central, Manhattan. This is a strategic leadership role overseeing the complete user experience journey, from initial market engagement through product depth.
About the Role
You'll take ownership of the user experience strategy and team for Unity's GTM and Marketplace functions. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll shape how millions of developers and creators first discover, evaluate, and engage with our platform. You'll partner with product, marketing, and go-to-market leaders to design experiences that drive adoption and deepen user relationships.
What You'll Do
- Lead a design team focused on customer acquisition, evaluation, and marketplace discovery experiences
- Own the end-to-end UX strategy from awareness and consideration through product adoption
- Define design principles, standards, and workflows that balance user needs with business objectives
- Collaborate with product and marketing stakeholders to translate market insights into compelling user experiences
- Establish and measure design impact through user research, analytics, and business outcomes
- Build and mentor a high-performing design organization aligned with company goals
- Drive design innovation that differentiates Unity in the developer tools market
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing design teams at a senior level in a B2B or developer-focused context
- Track record owning UX strategy and execution across the entire customer journey
- Strong portfolio demonstrating impact on adoption, engagement, or marketplace-related product design
- Ability to influence across organizations and communicate design value to non-design stakeholders
- Experience designing for complex audiences, such as developers, creators, or technical professionals
- Strategic mindset balanced with hands-on design capability
