Senior Associate, Salesforce System Administrator

KIPP is hiring a Senior Associate, Salesforce System Administrator for a remote full-time position supporting our New York, NY operations. You'll play a critical role in managing our Salesforce platform, enabling our teams to operate efficiently and achieve our educational goals.

The Opportunity

As Senior Associate, Salesforce System Administrator at KIPP, you'll own the configuration, administration, and optimization of our Salesforce instance. This role bridges technology and strategy, ensuring our CRM platform supports organizational objectives and provides staff with the tools they need to succeed. You'll work remotely while maintaining close collaboration with stakeholders across KIPP's New York region and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and configure Salesforce solutions tailored to KIPP's business processes and reporting needs
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to maintain data security and system integrity
• Perform system maintenance, including data validation, archival, and backup procedures
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime
• Create and enhance reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to leadership and operational teams
• Document system configurations and maintain accurate technical documentation
• Partner with departments to gather requirements and translate them into Salesforce enhancements
• Provide training and support to end users on Salesforce functionality and best practices

Who We're Looking For

• Salesforce Administrator Certification or equivalent demonstrated experience administering Salesforce instances
• 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience in a mission-driven or fast-paced environment
• Strong technical foundation in Salesforce configuration, customization, and system management
• Experience with Salesforce data management, including data import, validation, and quality assurance
• Proficiency in building reports and dashboards that drive decision-making
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated commitment to educational equity and mission-driven work is a plus
