About the Role

The Senior AML Compliance Officer at United Overseas Bank (UOB) is responsible for ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering regulations and supporting the bank's risk management framework. This role involves developing and implementing policies, procedures, and controls to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing activities.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AML policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular reviews of compliance processes and ensure adherence to internal control frameworks.
• Monitor and investigate suspicious transactions, ensuring timely reporting to relevant authorities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary updates to AML programs.

What You Bring

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in AML compliance, preferably within the banking sector.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore (nationwide) (nationwide)’s AML/CFT regulations and international best practices.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify risks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working in a collaborative environment.
