About the Role
At Idnow, you will be part of a dynamic team driving innovation in digital identity and fraud prevention. As a Senior Software Engineer - Java, your primary responsibility is to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions that support our mission to transform trust into the most powerful asset in the digital world.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust, scalable Java-based applications for our AI-driven SaaS identity solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, UX/UI designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software products.
- Maintain and optimize existing codebases, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall technical architecture of our solutions.
- Ensure compliance with security and data protection regulations through rigorous testing and validation processes.
Who We're Looking For
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Java developer, preferably in a SaaS or enterprise software environment.
- Strong understanding of Java, Spring Framework, and related technologies (e.g., Hibernate, RESTful services).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, etc.
- Experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
