Role Overview

As a Sandwich Artist at our Subway location in Crane, you'll be the heart of the guest experience. Your shift will blend customer interaction with food preparation, creating made-to-order sandwiches, salads, and other menu items tailored to each guest's preferences. You'll work alongside team members to deliver the quality and efficiency our customers expect, all while maintaining a clean, welcoming restaurant environment.

Core Duties

• Take guest orders and knowledgeably guide customers through menu options and customizations
• Assemble and prepare sandwiches, wraps, and other items according to Subway standards and guest specifications
• Serve prepared food and beverages with accuracy and care
• Maintain strict food safety and hygiene protocols throughout your shift
• Keep the prep area, service counters, and dining space clean, organized, and stocked
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions securely
• Support teammates during peak hours and share responsibilities across all station duties
• Follow company policies and assist with opening or closing procedures as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Ability to work a flexible, part-time schedule including weekends and evenings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to cleanliness and food safety standards
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to help others
• Prior food service or retail experience is a plus but not required
