Safety Specialist I/II/III

Greenheck Group is seeking a Safety Specialist I/II/III for our Bushnell, Sumter County facility. This is a full-time position where you'll play a key role in protecting our team and maintaining a safe, compliant workplace across our air movement and ventilation manufacturing operations.

About the Role

As a Safety Specialist, you'll be instrumental in developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive safety programs that keep our employees protected and our facility operating in full compliance with OSHA and industry standards. You'll combine hands-on safety expertise with a genuine commitment to fostering a culture where every team member goes home safe every day.

What You'll Do

• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits throughout the facility to identify hazards and assess regulatory compliance
• Develop and deliver safety training programs tailored to different roles and departments
• Investigate workplace incidents and near-misses, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions
• Maintain detailed safety records, reports, and metrics; communicate safety performance to leadership
• Collaborate with operations teams to implement engineering controls and safe work procedures
• Stay current on regulatory changes and ensure facility practices remain fully compliant
• Champion a proactive safety culture, encouraging employee participation and feedback

What We're Looking For

• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety best practices
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective safety programs
• Excellent communication skills for training, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for documentation and compliance
• Problem-solving ability and commitment to continuous improvement
• Professional safety certification (ASSP, CSP, OHST, or equivalent) preferred
