Position Summary

The Integrated Health System company is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for their MedSurg unit in Prairieville, IL. This role involves managing patient care on the 4th and 3rd floors of the hospital with specific bed numbers and ideal staffing ratios.

Core Duties

• Provide primary charge nursing care to patients with a focus on MedSurg units including but not limited to NSTEMI, COPD, PNA, Sepsis, and AKI diagnoses.
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Manage patient care based on the 1:5 ratio ideal but can go up to 1:6, ensuring quality of care is maintained at all times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent experience required.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• A minimum of one year of MedSurg experience preferred but not mandatory.
