About the Role
As a Long Term Care RN with Good Samaritan, you will deliver attentive, resident-centered nursing care within a faith-based, not-for-profit setting that has served older adults for more than a century. This is a part-time, night-shift position based at GSS MN St Paul Maplewood Center, located at 550 Roselawn Ave E, Saint Paul, MN 55117, with approximately 8 scheduled hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to long-term care residents during overnight hours.
- Assess resident needs, monitor changes in condition, and respond promptly to clinical concerns.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and care plans.
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident health, comfort, and dignity.
- Uphold quality care standards in a respectful, Christian environment.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure as required to practice in Minnesota.
- Interest in or experience with long-term care and geriatric nursing.
- Availability to work the night shift on a part-time schedule.
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation abilities.
- Commitment to compassionate, resident-focused service.
