About This Position
Burlington is seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Stocking Team Lead to join our Back of House/Receiving team in Lansing, Michigan. As a key member of the store's leadership team, you will play an integral role in leading Receiving Associates by becoming an extension of the Retail Stocking Team Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor Receiving Associates to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service
- Ensure all stock is received, sorted, and placed accurately and efficiently
- Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or issues promptly
- Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Communicate effectively with the Retail Stocking Team Supervisor and other team members
Requirements
- Strong leadership skills, particularly in retail environments
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or relevant retail experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Valid driver's license (if required for job duties)
