About the Role
As a Research Specialist with the Cancer Institute at University of Mississippi Medical Center, you will serve as a vital member of our research teams, providing essential support for ongoing clinical and laboratory research projects. What You'll Do
- Assist with data collection, entry, and analysis for research studies and clinical trials
- Maintain accurate research documentation and ensure compliance with institutional protocols and regulatory requirements
- Support patient recruitment, screening, and enrollment for research studies
- Coordinate research activities across teams and manage communication between departments
- Prepare and organize research materials, specimens, and equipment for studies
- Contribute to literature reviews and assist with research proposal development
- Support data analysis using standard research software and statistical methods
- Help prepare manuscripts and materials for research presentations and publications
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in biology, life sciences, health sciences, or a related field
