About the Role

This part-time Physical Therapist position at Compassus provides an opportunity to work in a supportive healthcare environment serving patients in Capitol Hill and surrounding areas. You'll apply your clinical training to help patients regain mobility, strength, and independence through evidence-based rehabilitation care.

What You'll Do

• Perform thorough patient evaluations and functional assessments to guide treatment planning
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs tailored to each patient's condition and recovery goals
• Deliver direct therapeutic interventions and hands-on patient care
• Provide instruction in therapeutic exercises and home-based rehabilitation programs
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment as indicated by clinical outcomes
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records and clinical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team
• Educate patients and their families regarding recovery timelines and injury prevention strategies

What We're Looking For

• Active Washington state Physical Therapist license
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
• Clinical experience in patient rehabilitation and physical therapy
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Dedication to patient-centered care and positive therapeutic outcomes
• Ability to function effectively on a multidisciplinary healthcare team
