Rehab – Occupational Therapist

About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist with Tender Touch Rehab Services, you'll work directly with patients to restore and enhance their ability to perform daily living activities and achieve their functional goals. This part-time role offers flexibility while allowing you to contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality occupational therapy services in the Mount Vernon area.

What You'll Do

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and functional evaluations to identify rehabilitation needs and goals
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based occupational therapy approaches
• Provide therapeutic interventions including activities of daily living training, fine motor skill development, and adaptive strategy instruction
• Monitor patient progress through ongoing assessment and modify treatment strategies as clinically indicated
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapists, physicians, and nursing staff
• Educate patients and family members on home programs and adaptive techniques to support independence
• Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation and treatment records for quality assurance and continuity of care

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program
• Valid state occupational therapy license and current professional certification (OTR/L)
• Clinical experience delivering occupational therapy services in a healthcare setting
• Strong clinical reasoning and patient assessment abilities
• Excellent communication skills and genuine commitment to patient-centered care
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse healthcare professionals and patient populations
