Regional Manager – (Sacramento/NorCal) – CORP

Aperto Property Management is hiring a full-time Regional Manager (Sacramento/NorCal) to lead operations across a portfolio of multifamily communities throughout Northern California from our Sacramento, Sacramento County base.

About the Role

As Regional Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day performance of conventional and affordable apartment communities within the Sacramento and greater NorCal region. This corporate-level position is ideal for an experienced property operations leader who thrives on driving results, mentoring on-site teams, and upholding high standards across a diverse housing portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and support property management teams across multiple multifamily communities in the Sacramento/NorCal region.
• Monitor occupancy, financial performance, and operating budgets to meet portfolio goals.
• Ensure compliance with conventional and affordable housing requirements and program guidelines.
• Coach, develop, and evaluate community managers and site staff to encourage strong, consistent performance.
• Conduct regular property visits, inspections, and reviews to maintain quality and resident satisfaction.
• Partner with corporate leadership on reporting, strategy, and operational improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing multifamily or apartment communities, ideally across a regional portfolio.
• Working knowledge of both conventional and affordable housing operations.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and guiding high-performing teams.
• Solid grasp of budgeting, financial reporting, and property performance metrics.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to travel within the Sacramento and Northern California area to support assigned properties.
