About the Role

As Regional Medical Director for the Southeast, you'll serve as the senior medical leader within your geographic area, driving medical excellence and clinical strategy across ViiV Healthcare's operations. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on medical oversight, positioning you at the intersection of clinical practice and business development in HIV care and related therapeutics.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead medical strategy, governance, and clinical initiatives across the Southeast region
• Develop and maintain relationships with key healthcare providers and medical stakeholders
• Provide medical expertise and clinical guidance to support commercial and marketing initiatives
• Oversee continuing medical education and professional engagement programming
• Ensure medical operations comply with regulatory standards and company governance frameworks
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on clinical evidence and medical communications
• Monitor therapeutic trends and emerging clinical data relevant to your territory

What You Bring

• Medical degree (M.D., D.O., or equivalent) with active medical licensure
• Minimum 5 years of experience in medical affairs, clinical practice, or pharmaceutical medical leadership
• Deep knowledge of the Southeast healthcare landscape and key opinion leaders
• Proven ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing medical teams
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate clinical information for diverse audiences
• Solid understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations and medical governance requirements
• Willingness to travel regularly within the 9-location Southeast region
