Role Overview
This Real Estate Paralegal position is a full-time role based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, providing meaningful support to attorneys and clients across residential and commercial real estate transactions. You'll work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, joining a law firm committed to delivering quality legal services and fostering a supportive work environment. The role is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional who thrives in a collaborative setting and takes pride in managing the documentation, research, and administrative tasks that keep real estate deals on track.
Your Responsibilities
- Prepare and review real estate documents including purchase agreements, deeds, title documentation, and closing statements
- Conduct title searches and coordinate title insurance matters
- Organize and maintain legal files and case materials in a systematic manner
- Assist with closing preparations, including scheduling, coordinating with lenders and title companies, and preparing closing agendas
- Draft correspondence with clients, third parties, and opposing counsel
- Research real estate law, zoning regulations, and property records as needed
- Support attorneys during closings and other client meetings
- Manage calendars, deadlines, and legal deadlines to ensure timely matter progression
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a paralegal, with exposure to real estate law preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with legal software, document management systems, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet firm deadlines
- Professional demeanor and commitment to client confidentiality
- Familiarity with Pennsylvania real estate practices is a plus
