University of Vermont Health – UVM Medical Center is hiring Radiology Technologists for new graduates entering the field in summer 2026. If you're finishing your radiology program this spring and ready to launch your career as an X-ray technologist, sonographer, or nuclear medicine technologist, we invite you to join our team in Essex, Chittenden County.
About the Role
This full-time position offers new graduates the opportunity to work directly with patients, physicians, and experienced clinical teams in a busy medical imaging department. You'll grow your clinical skills from day one while contributing meaningfully to patient care across our health network.
What You'll Do
- Perform radiographic imaging and positioning techniques according to established protocols
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment safely and effectively
- Prepare and support patients during imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure quality diagnostic images
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control procedures
What We're Looking For
- Graduation from an accredited radiology program (spring 2026)
- Certification eligibility or current certification in your modality (radiography, sonography, or nuclear medicine)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and grow within a supportive clinical setting
