About the Role
As a Radiologic Technologist here, you'll operate advanced diagnostic imaging equipment while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and care. Working under the supervision of the Control Supervisor, you'll be the clinical backbone of our imaging operations, delivering quality diagnostic images that inform patient treatment decisions.
What You'll Do
- Perform a full range of radiographic imaging procedures using current technology
- Position patients and equipment to capture clear, diagnostically valuable images
- Follow strict patient safety protocols and radiation safety standards
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support patient care
- Keep imaging equipment in proper working order and report maintenance needs
- Adapt to varying patient needs with compassion and professionalism
What We're Looking For
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
- State licensure as required by New York regulations
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality imaging
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliability and flexibility, especially for evening shift and on-call support
