Proposal Specialist III

AECOM is seeking a detail-driven Proposal Specialist III to join our team in Tampa, Hillsborough County, where you'll help shape the winning pursuits behind some of the world's most ambitious infrastructure projects. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity to turn complex ideas into compelling, client-ready proposals.

About the Role

As a Proposal Specialist III at AECOM in Tampa, you'll coordinate and craft high-quality proposal content that supports our pursuit of new business. Working alongside technical staff, marketing teams, and project leaders, you'll manage submissions from kickoff through final delivery, ensuring every response is accurate, persuasive, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, writing, and assembly of proposals, qualifications packages, and related marketing materials.
• Coordinate input from technical experts, subject-matter leads, and project teams to build cohesive, compliant submissions.
• Interpret client requirements and ensure each response addresses scope, evaluation criteria, and submission instructions.
• Manage proposal schedules, production milestones, and deadlines across multiple concurrent pursuits.
• Edit and refine content for clarity, consistency, branding, and overall quality.
• Maintain and organize reusable proposal resources, resumes, project descriptions, and reference libraries.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in proposal coordination, business development support, or technical marketing, ideally within engineering, architecture, or infrastructure consulting.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with sharp attention to detail.
• Ability to juggle competing priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with standard document production and design tools.
• Collaborative communicator comfortable working across diverse teams.
• Based in or able to work on-site in Tampa, Hillsborough County.
