About the Role

As an Entertainment Scenic Carpenter at Six Flags in Doswell, Hanover County, you'll join the Live Entertainment team and play a hands-on part in producing this year's shows, events, and attractions. The starting wage is $16.75 per hour, and applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position. This is an excellent opportunity to sharpen your carpentry and scenic construction skills in a fast-paced entertainment environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, assemble, and finish scenic pieces and sets for live shows, events, and attractions
• Support the Live Entertainment team in preparing and presenting the current season's programming
• Construct and repair scenic elements to meet production schedules and quality standards
• Work safely with carpentry tools, materials, and equipment in shop and on-site settings
• Collaborate with fellow carpenters, technicians, and production staff to deliver guest-ready experiences

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Interest in or experience with carpentry, scenic construction, or set building
• Willingness to learn and grow your skills as an Entertainment Scenic Carpenter
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative Live Entertainment team
• Comfortable performing hands-on, physical work in a theme park environment
