Property Manager (Tax Credit & HUD experience required)

GCHP is hiring a full-time Property Manager (Tax Credit & HUD experience required) in Jackson, Hinds County, to lead the daily operations and financial health of our affordable housing communities.

About the Role

This is an on-site, mid-management opportunity in Jackson, Mississippi, reporting directly to the Regional Property Manager. As Property Manager, you will own the day-to-day running and fiscal stewardship of an assigned portfolio of residential communities. Success in this position calls for hands-on knowledge of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and HUD program requirements, paired with a consistent commitment to outstanding resident service and a polished, professional approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the daily operations of assigned GCHP communities, keeping each property running smoothly and in good order.
• Manage budgets, rent collection, reporting, and the overall financial performance of your portfolio.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with Tax Credit (LIHTC) and HUD regulations and documentation standards.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service to residents and prospective tenants alike.
• Stay current on local rental market conditions, competitor offerings, and any resident specials available across the portfolio.
• Represent GCHP with professionalism in every interaction with residents, staff, and partners.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience administering Tax Credit (LIHTC) and HUD-regulated properties is required.
• A solid foundation in property operations and budget or fiscal management.
• Strong customer-service instincts and a professional, resident-focused demeanor.
• Working knowledge of the local rental market and competitive positioning.
• Willingness to work on-site in Jackson, Hinds County (this role is not remote).
