Project Manager – Restaurant Construction – Interior Fit-Outs

The Project Manager - Restaurant Construction - Interior Fit-Outs position at Ameritech Facility Services in Mansfield, Tarrant County is a full‑time opportunity to lead restaurant build‑out projects from concept through completion.

About the Role

In this role you will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned restaurant clients, overseeing all phases of interior fit‑out work. You will coordinate design, permitting, procurement, and construction activities while maintaining schedule, budget, and quality standards. The position reports to the General Manager and involves both office‑based planning and regular site visits to ensure work progresses as planned.

What You'll Do

• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and cost estimates.
• Facilitate kickoff meetings with clients, architects, and subcontractors to align expectations.
• Obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with local building codes and health regulations.
• Monitor daily progress on‑site, address issues promptly, and keep stakeholders informed through regular reports.
• Manage subcontractor performance, review invoices, and control change orders to protect the budget.
• Conduct final walk‑throughs, compile punch lists, and oversee close‑out documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to best‑practice standards across the portfolio.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing restaurant construction or commercial interior fit‑out projects.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, trade coordination, and permit processes.
• Proficiency with project‑management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and standard office tools.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites within the DFW metro area.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
