Production Manager

Ludlum Measurement is hiring a Production Manager to lead operations at our Sweetwater, Nolan County facility. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll oversee production teams, streamline manufacturing processes, and ensure products reach customers safely and on time.

Position Summary

As Production Manager at Ludlum Measurement, you'll play a central role in driving operational excellence. This full-time, on-site position offers the opportunity to lead a production team, identify efficiency improvements, and maintain the high safety and quality standards our customers depend on. You'll work collaboratively across departments to align production schedules with business objectives and respond to operational challenges with practical solutions.

Core Duties

• Lead and supervise production floor teams to meet daily, weekly, and monthly output targets
• Monitor production workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain safe working conditions and enforce compliance with safety protocols and regulations
• Track key performance metrics including quality, efficiency, and schedule adherence
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality assurance, and supply chain to resolve operational issues
• Train and develop team members to build a capable, engaged production workforce
• Prepare production reports and communicate status to senior management

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience managing production teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong understanding of production processes, scheduling, and workflow optimization
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to motivate and lead a diverse team toward shared goals
• Familiarity with safety regulations and quality assurance standards
• Proficiency with production management tools and systems
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
