About this role & career path
This counsel track sits at the intersection of privacy law, AI governance, and enterprise SaaS. Typical progression moves from specialist counsel toward senior/lead privacy or product counsel roles, or broader legal leadership covering regulatory and trust topics.
Be ready to discuss privacy frameworks (e.g., PIPEDA/GDPR concepts), AI governance (risk classification, transparency, human oversight), and how counsel partners with product on a multi-tenant SaaS planning platform. Prepare examples of contract or policy work under ambiguity and cross-functional influence without inventing Anaplan-specific process claims.
Strong fit if you want in-house privacy/AI counsel work at a planning SaaS vendor, prefer Ottawa on-site, and can operate across legal, product, and security. Thin public employee-sentiment data; weigh primary research and interviews.
