Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced relationship fundraiser to lead our Development Team and take our philanthropy programme to its next stage of growth. This is a permanent, full-time role based in Sydenham, Christchurch, New Zealand, New Zealand.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement strategies for fundraising initiatives that align with the school's mission and values.
• Liaise with key stakeholders to secure major gifts and partnerships.
• Manage a portfolio of donors and relationships, ensuring high levels of engagement and satisfaction.
• Oversee the planning and execution of events and campaigns to support the philanthropy programme.
• Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the school by providing insights on fundraising trends and best practices.

Skills & Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior fundraising role, preferably within an educational institution or non-profit sector.
• Strong relationship-building skills with a proven track record of securing major gifts.
• Excellent communication and networking abilities.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement comprehensive fundraising plans.
• Familiarity with donor management systems and CRM tools.
