About the Role

This full‑time position supports recent pharmacy graduates who earned their degree outside the United States as they complete supervised practice required for state licensure. Interns work directly under a licensed pharmacist, contributing to patient care while meeting all State Board of Pharmacy obligations.

What You'll Do

• Perform post‑graduate pharmacy tasks under the direct guidance of a licensed pharmacist.
• Provide medication counseling to customers, covering proper usage, potential drug interactions, and preventive health topics.
• Administer immunizations and other preventive healthcare services in accordance with pharmacy protocols.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Assist with daily pharmacy operations, including prescription processing and inventory management.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to develop professional competencies.

What We're Looking For

• A pharmacy degree (PharmD or equivalent) obtained from an institution outside the United States.
• Eligibility to obtain an intern pharmacist license in the state of Illinois.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient consultations.
• Foundational knowledge of pharmacology, medication safety, and immunization practices.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
