About the Role

We're seeking an organized, detail-oriented professional for our Accounting and Human Resources Department. As our Payroll/Benefits/Human Resources Specialist, you'll serve as a key contributor to HR operations, handling payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee-related compliance. This role bridges payroll accuracy with positive employee experience—ensuring every paycheck is right and every team member feels supported.

What You'll Do

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule, maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other offerings
• Support recruitment and onboarding efforts to attract and hire qualified talent
• Maintain employee records and ensure all HR documentation meets company policies and legal standards
• Respond to employee questions about pay, benefits, and HR policies with professionalism and clarity
• Assist with policy implementation and ensure consistent application across the organization
• Coordinate with payroll vendors, benefits providers, and government agencies as needed

• Proven experience in payroll processing, benefits administration, or human resources support
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and records
• Knowledge of payroll compliance, tax withholding, and employment regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
