About the Role

As a Pay Clerk supporting Army Military Pay Office operations, you'll be instrumental in the financial management services that keep military personnel paid correctly and on schedule. What You'll Do

• Process and verify military pay records, ensuring accuracy in all payroll transactions
• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies in pay documentation
• Enter and update personnel and financial data into secure Army systems
• Maintain organized records of pay history, deductions, and allowances
• Assist service members with inquiries about their pay and compensation
• Ensure all work complies with Army financial regulations and federal guidelines
• Coordinate with military personnel and finance departments to resolve pay-related issues

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• Proficiency with computer systems and database applications
• Strong attention to detail and ability to catch discrepancies in financial documents
• Solid organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to handle confidential military and personnel information responsibly
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Capability to work independently and follow procedures precisely
• Prior payroll, accounting, or financial administration experience is preferred
