About the Role

As a Repair and Tool Technician at Home Depot in Cooper City, Broward County, you will assess and service small engines, outdoor power equipment, and handheld electrical tools. You'll keep rental and customer units running reliably, advise on the right equipment for the job, and support both our store-based Tool Rental Centers and our dedicated repair centers. This is an on-site, full-time position ideal for a mechanically minded problem-solver.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair small engines, outdoor power equipment, and handheld electrical devices.
• Evaluate the condition of incoming units and determine the most effective repair approach.
• Perform routine maintenance to keep Tool Rental Center equipment in safe, working order.
• Provide informed equipment recommendations to customers and store associates.
• Work across store Tool Rental Centers and repair center environments as needed.

Qualifications

• Practical experience servicing small engines, power equipment, or handheld electrical tools.
• Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail when evaluating and fixing units.
• Ability to work on-site in Cooper City, Broward County on a full-time schedule.
• A customer-focused mindset, comfortable making clear equipment recommendations.
