SPS Companies is hiring a Part Time Janitor/Grounds Keeper in Lubbock, Lubbock County, to help keep our facility clean, safe, and well maintained Monday through Friday from 1pm to 5pm at $19.50 per hour.
About the Role
As a Part Time Janitor and Grounds Keeper with SPS Companies in Lubbock, you'll play a hands-on part in maintaining a safe and orderly work environment. This position covers the upkeep of both interior spaces and the exterior areas around our Lubbock County facility, working a consistent weekday afternoon schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility, including maintenance, production, and shipping areas.
- Clean and service restrooms and the lunchroom to keep them sanitary and stocked.
- Care for outdoor spaces such as driveways, parking areas, and the grounds surrounding the building.
- Help uphold a safe workplace by keeping walkways and common areas free of hazards.
- Take part in scheduled safety, department, and company meetings as required.
- Observe and support company policies and safety practices on the job.
Qualifications
- Reliable and able to commit to the set Monday–Friday, 1pm–5pm part-time schedule.
- Comfortable performing physical, hands-on cleaning and grounds-keeping tasks.
- Attentive to detail with a strong focus on workplace safety and cleanliness.
- Able to work independently and follow established procedures.
- Authorized to work on-site at the Lubbock, Lubbock County location (this is not a remote role).
