About the Role
As a Part-time Cook with Suite Living Senior Care, you'll prepare nourishing, appetizing meals for residents within our Spring Lake Park senior living community. This is a part-time position structured around a blend of full shifts and half shifts, with full-day coverage on weekends and half-day coverage on weekdays. The posted pay range is $19–$21 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Cook and plate balanced, flavorful meals for residents across scheduled mealtimes
- Follow established recipes and portion guidelines to support residents' dietary needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen that meets food-safety standards
- Work a rotating mix of full and half shifts, including full days on weekends
- Coordinate with care staff to ensure mealtimes run smoothly and on schedule
Qualifications
- Prior cooking or food-preparation experience, ideally in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality setting
- Working knowledge of safe food handling and kitchen sanitation practices
- Availability to cover full-day weekend shifts and half-day weekday shifts
