About the Role
As an OTR CDLA Car Carrier Team driver, you'll haul cars, trucks, and a wide range of vehicles nationwide using specialized auto-transport equipment designed to keep every shipment safe. This is a full-time, over-the-road position out of Alexandria, Rapides Parish, offering a dependable schedule and the support of a team that understands life on the road firsthand.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport vehicles long-haul across the country on flatbed and car-carrier trailers.
- Load, secure, and unload cars, trucks, and other vehicles to protect them throughout transit.
- Operate as part of a two-person team, sharing driving duties to keep freight moving efficiently.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to keep equipment road-ready.
- Follow all DOT and FMCSA safety and compliance regulations while on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
- Over-the-road driving experience, with car-hauling or flatbed background preferred.
- Willingness to run team routes and travel nationwide for extended periods.
- Strong commitment to safety, on-time delivery, and careful vehicle handling.
