About the Role

You'll lead the sports medicine program at a practice known for quality orthopedic care across Southern Arizona. Enjoy nights and weekends off with approximately 80% of procedures performed at the group's ambulatory surgery center, eliminating trauma call responsibilities entirely. This role emphasizes elective, high-acuity orthopedic sports cases within a stable, long-established patient base.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic sports-related orthopedic injuries
• Perform arthroscopic and open surgical procedures at the dedicated ASC
• Provide conservative management including joint injections and advanced imaging interpretation
• Collaborate with physical therapists and athletic trainers to optimize patient outcomes
• Build and maintain relationships across a strong regional referral network
• Participate in teaching and mentoring as the practice grows

What We're Looking For

• MD or DO with completed orthopedic surgery residency
• Board certification or immediate eligibility in orthopedic surgery
• Sports medicine fellowship training or equivalent experience
• Current Arizona medical license and DEA registration
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to evidence-based patient care
• Interest in partnership and practice ownership
