About the Role

As an Optometrist at this Milford-based practice, you'll be the clinical cornerstone of patient care. You'll conduct comprehensive eye exams, diagnose common and complex vision conditions, prescribe corrective lenses and therapeutic medications, and craft personalized treatment plans that help patients see and feel their best. This role combines clinical excellence with genuine patient engagement, where your expertise directly improves lives every day.

What You'll Do

• Perform thorough eye examinations using advanced diagnostic equipment to assess vision health and detect ocular diseases
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and ocular medications based on patient needs and clinical findings
• Educate patients about eye health, disease prevention, and treatment options in clear, accessible language
• Manage patient relationships with professionalism and empathy, consistently exceeding expectations
• Collaborate with opticians, support staff, and referring physicians to ensure seamless patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with all regulatory and licensing requirements
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented practice culture that prioritizes both patient outcomes and staff wellbeing

What We're Looking For

• Valid Doctor of Optometry degree (OD) and unrestricted optometry license for Connecticut
