The Opportunity
Step into a rewarding role as an Occupational Therapist in a school setting in Oxnard, CA. What You'll Do
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating and assessing the needs of preschoolers, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to enhance their fine motor skills, sensory processing, and overall development.
- Collaborating with educators, speech-language pathologists (SLPs), and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to each child's care and education.
- Providing direct therapy sessions and indirect consultation to support the integration of therapeutic strategies in the classroom environment.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of services provided, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist who is committed to making a positive impact on young children's lives. Key qualifications include:
- A Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- A current, valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children and a strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy practices.
