About This Position
Ivyrehab is seeking dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapists to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. As an outpatient pediatric clinician, you will have the opportunity to work with children from birth to age twenty-one. Our focus is on providing individualized one-to-one attention and customized plans of care tailored to each child's unique needs.
Core Duties
- Evaluate and assess the developmental, cognitive, and physical abilities of pediatric patients
- Create and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with parents and caregivers
- Provide hands-on therapy sessions to improve motor skills, coordination, and daily living activities
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Communicate effectively with families, other healthcare professionals, and school personnel
Who We're Looking For
- OTR or COTA licensure in Virginia is required
- Experience working with pediatric patients preferred but not mandatory
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- A passion for helping children achieve their full potential through therapy
