Whole Child Therapy is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OTR) for school-based work during the 2026-2027 school year in Fontana, San Bernardino County. About the Role
This is a full-time, W-2 position (40 hours per week) following the school-year calendar across the Inland Empire. As a school-based Occupational Therapist with Whole Child Therapy, you'll deliver meaningful, hands-on care to students while enjoying the stability, support, and professional respect that an established practice provides.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students within school settings in Fontana and surrounding Inland Empire communities.
- Assess student needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and track progress toward goals.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support each child's development.
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with school and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to a consistent, single-site caseload rather than constantly shifting between locations.
Qualifications
- Current certification and licensure as a Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR).
- Eligibility to work as a W-2 employee.
- Interest in or experience with school-based pediatric occupational therapy.
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to student-centered care.
Compensation
This role offers a base rate of $52 to $57 per hour, plus a supervisory premium and bonuses. With benefits and bonuses factored in, total annual earnings are estimated at roughly $98,000 to $106,000 per year.
