About the Role
As a Nationwide Notary Navigator, you'll be the backbone of our mobile notary operation, traveling to client locations to execute notarizations with precision and professionalism. This full-time position combines administrative expertise, legal accuracy, and excellent interpersonal skills in a dynamic, client-centered environment.
What You'll Do
- Perform accurate notarial acts including witnessing signatures, administering oaths, and certifying documents at client locations
- Maintain detailed notarial records, journals, and compliance documentation in accordance with Texas law
- Schedule appointments, coordinate travel logistics, and manage a flexible daily route across Houston and surrounding areas
- Verify client identity and document authenticity prior to notarization
- Communicate clearly with clients about notarial requirements, fees, and timelines
- Stay current with state notary regulations, continuing education, and best practices
What We're Looking For
- Active Texas notary commission with good standing and valid credentials
- Strong understanding of notarial law, permissible acts, and Texas-specific requirements
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities for independent mobile operations
- Professional demeanor and ability to build client trust and confidence
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work variable hours including evenings and weekends as needed
- Detail-oriented approach to record-keeping and document handling
