About the Role

As a Mobile Diesel Mechanic with Rush Enterprises, you'll be the go-to expert for commercial fleet owners and operators in the Colcord region. Your work takes you on-site to client locations, where you'll perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel-powered trucks and heavy equipment. This position offers the independence and variety that comes with mobile service work, combined with the stability and support of a trusted industry leader.

What You'll Do

• Conduct on-site inspections and diagnostic testing on diesel engines and related systems
• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled service to keep commercial fleets operational
• Execute repair and rebuilding work on diesel engines, transmissions, and drivelines
• Document all service work accurately and communicate recommendations to fleet managers
• Travel to customer locations throughout Colcord and Delaware County to minimize downtime
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition

What We're Looking For

• Valid diesel mechanic certification or equivalent hands-on experience
• Proven track record in diesel engine repair and fleet maintenance
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule in the field
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
