Member Assist Cart Attendant

Walmart is hiring a Full‑Time Member Assist Cart Attendant at its Newcomb Hall location in Charlottesville City.

About the Role

As a Member Assist Cart Attendant, you play a key part in creating a welcoming start and finish for every shopper’s visit. Your efforts keep the parking area tidy, carts readily available, and members feeling assisted from arrival to departure.

What You'll Do

• Greet members with a friendly smile and offer help loading or unloading purchases.
• Retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot and return them to designated corrals.
• Inspect the parking area for debris, stray carts, or safety concerns and address them promptly.
• Ensure cart stations are stocked, organized, and free of obstructions.
• Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate team lead.
• Support overall store cleanliness by assisting with quick pick‑up tasks as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull carts safely (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Good communication skills and a courteous, helpful demeanor.
• Basic attention to detail for maintaining orderly cart areas.
• No prior experience required; we provide on‑the‑job training.
